New boys face tough openers |

Premier league new boys West Brom & Newcastle face tough opening day fixtures with West Brom being away to champions Chelsea while Newcastle are off to the Theatre of Dreams to play Man Utd. No doubt the biggest clash of the day though is Liverpool v Arsenal, while two other top four hopefuls Tottenham & Manchester City meet at White Hart Lane. Elsewhere on opening day Aston villa face West Ham, Everton are at Blackburn & Blackpool’s reward for there heroics in the in the playoff final see them open up at home to Wigan. Steve Bruce’s Sunderland welcome his old club Birmingham to the stadium of light, Wolves play Stoke at Molineux & Bolton entertain Europa League runners – up Fulham. Chelsea have to wait until October to play any of the big four when they play Arsenal at home on October 2nd with the return fixture being on Boxing Day.
The first clash of last season’s top two comes on December 18th with Chelsea playing host to Man Utd & the return at old Trafford on May 7th. Opening weekend - Saturday, 14 August
